Hello! I’m Naya — short for Nayarit — a Chicago-based Digital and Visual Designer, lifelong artist, and serial hobbyist. Since graduating in 2015, I’ve worked across newspapers, studios, agencies, and in-house teams, illustrating columns and designing everything from trade show displays and packaging to lifecycle campaigns, events, and brand systems — all with a blend of instinct, systems thinking, and stubborn curiosity.
I hold a BA in Graphic Design and have a background in visual arts, but truthfully, I’m mostly self-taught. I recently sharpened my interface design skills through a UX/UI course and am currently diving into a HubSpot Email Certification. I’m observant, intuitive and probably overthinking it. When I’m not designing you’ll find me chasing inspiration on spontaneous nature trips or buried in a new creative rabbit hole. I take personal time as seriously as I do career growth — both fuel my creativity and keep me grounded.
